The Top 100 Brands of China's Top Brands Valued at RMB 46 Billion

For the first time in China, an assessment survey on the brand value of China's old brands was published. In the "China Top 100 Brand Value Top 100 Brands" released by the China Brand Research Institute, the top 100 brands had a total value of 46.074 billion yuan, of which Tong Ren Tang ranked first with a brand value of 2.955 billion yuan. The brand value of the oldest Yang Mingyuan brand at the top 100 is only RMB 15 million. The difference between the two is nearly 200 times.

It is understood that since 1990, only 1600 old Chinese titles have been assessed by the national competent commercial authorities, which is equivalent to only 10% of the total number of time-honored brands in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Now, even if there are more than 1600 Chinese time-honored companies, most businesses are in crisis. 70% of them are very difficult to manage, 20% barely maintain their operations, and only 10% flourish.

In the top 100 rankings, the top ten brand values are Tong Ren Tang, Heng Yuan Xiang, Yunnan Baiyao, Guan Sheng Yuan, Wang Lao Ji, Quan Xing, Lao Feng Xiang, Jin Jiang, Tong Jun Ge, and Quan Ju De.

According to statistics, among the oldest Chinese brands on the list, the pharmaceutical industry has the largest number, reaching 31, followed by the food, catering and wine making industries, which are 25, 20 and 8 respectively. Among them, liquor brands have the highest gold content. The average value of eight brands reached 700 million yuan, followed by pharmaceutical brands, catering and food industries.
