In 2010-2011, only seven companies in Nantong Haimen rank among the top 500 competitiveness enterprises in China's textile and clothing industry. According to the latest news, in January of this year, Nantong Port imported 64 batches of cotton, weighing 1,940.607 tons, an increase of 33.3% from last year's batch, and a weight increase of 23.49%, creating a new high number of imported cotton at Nantong Port.
