weekend links with sinclaire

Hello there! This week's weekend links are brought to you by yours truly—Sinclaire, formerly known as the S in Oliver + S. I’m thrilled to take this opportunity and dive right in! A while back, my mom inspired me to try creating something similar to weekend links but on Instagram. Did you know Instagram has this hidden gem called "Guides"? It’s a feature where you can save your favorite photos from different accounts and create mini blog posts within the platform. I’ve experimented with it a few times, and it’s quite enjoyable, though it still doesn’t compare to the charm of these weekend links. Oh, and let’s talk about my obsession with Pinterest—it’s real. I absolutely adore making mood boards for various seasons: back-to-school time, Christmas, summer, you name it. Having a colorful collage as my desktop wallpaper gives me such joy. ![Pinterest Mood Board](http://bsg-i.nbxc.com/blog/21c42b20df52d0f1f650386944e2ec78.png) With all that said, I feel fully prepared to host this edition of weekend links. To be honest, this week’s selection might not have as much fashion as usual, but I promise it’ll be equally entertaining. **Pinterest Picks** These past few weeks have been chilly in Madrid, and I’m counting down the days until spring arrives. In the meantime, I’ve fallen head over heels for these pajamas adorned with little hearts. They remind me of the Lisette pattern my mom used to sew into my pajamas when I was younger. They're perfect for those transitional weather days. In Spain, it’s customary for students to go on a trip with friends after finishing high school. My group of friends and I are planning a trip to Greece at the end of June, where we'll live out our *Mamma Mia!* dreams. Naturally, I’ve already begun brainstorming potential outfits. I’ve been eyeing these adorable heart-shaped earrings for some time now. Hearts are always a winner in my book, and these are particularly stunning. Lastly, rounding out my Pinterest picks, I found this breathtaking room inspiration. It’s something I’ll definitely keep in mind when decorating my dorm room next year. --- **Links** - Over the past couple of years, I’ve been teaching my friends what “Rickrolling” is. Until recently, I struggled to explain it properly, but this article does an excellent job breaking it all down. Fascinating read! - My mom, who only manages to fall asleep while listening to something, got me hooked on podcasts. One of my favorites is *Dear Hank and John*. If you’re familiar with John Green, the author of *The Fault in Our Stars* and *Looking for Alaska*, or his science-y brother Hank, you’ll enjoy their weekly podcast. They answer listener questions on everything from soccer to Mars, and every episode kicks off with a groan-worthy dad joke. - Speaking of answering questions, my dad showed me this website the other day. It’s perfect for those moments when someone (like my mom) asks a question they could easily look up themselves. - And finally, here’s a track I’ve been jamming to this week! Thank you for tuning in to my weekend links, Sinclaire P.S. As always, feel free to share your thoughts or any recommendations in the comments below. Let’s keep the conversation going!
